Conflicting Information?

According to the information on this page, Furno discarded the DFS for his MTIS, but according to other information, we know that Jawblade stole them from Furno at one point? What's the story on this, do we have other information to corroborate with this? Also, another question: does the show have a lot of canonical stability? In the show, the DFS is shown as just the handle that shoots fire, but the weapon page describes it as having blades. What can we say about this?

Issue by issue:

1. The only logical conclusion we drew from that is that there are multiple copies of the weapon; not all that difficult, given how the blades were easily reproduced for the Fire Lord, and how that, in turn, was mass-produced for Recon Team, etc.
2. Yes, the show is canon. Certain artistic liberties can be taken, but in this case, it's not too much of a stretch. The weapon is even called "shooter", and we have other weapons capable of generating blades, so it's not improbable to think that the blades can spring out of "nowhere". Or it just could be easier to represent the shooter as a gun than a sword. Surge's weapon was the same way.
