The Stormer Freeze Machine was a Battle Machine used by Preston Stormer.

History

Rocka designed and constructed the Stormer Freeze Machine using the Remote Builder for Stormer during the invasion of Antropolis City. Stormer used the machine to combat the Jumpers invading the city. While confronting a Jaw Beast, the machine's blaster arm was torn off by the mutant Jumper, and the Jaw Beast got Stormer out of the Battle Machine and dragged him underground.

Features

The Stormer Freeze Machine was a bipedal machine, equipped with a Rotating Ice Blaster, also called an upgraded Freeze Blaster,^{[Episode 11]} a missile shooter, and iron fist. The Ice Blaster has two large ice blades that shoot ice. The Battle Machine also featured a bulletproof visor, an ejectable cockpit, and a freeze tank canister, or Cryo Chamber or Cryo Canister.

Trivia

• The Freeze Machine originally had a Goo Shooter, similar to the Evo XL Machine, but Stormer went for the Rotating Ice Blaster instead.^{[Episode 11]}

Set Information

Set 44017 Stormer Freeze Machine was released at the beginning of 2014 (though delayed until March for North America for an unknown reason). The set contains 88 pieces, 70 of which comprise the actual Stormer Freeze Machine, while the rest go to the minifigs and accessories. The set contains a rotating ice blaster that can be spun by turning a black knob behind it. It also has a flick-fire missile launcher with two flick-fire missiles. The Machine's arm that carries the rotating ice blaster can be placed on set 44022 Evo XL Machine to create a powered-up version of the Evo XL Machine. The Stormer Freeze Machine and 44019 Rocka Stealth Machine can be combined to create a new non-canon combination model using instructions from HeroFactory.com.
