Bruizer is a male Rock Giant that was transformed by a Brain.

Biography

Bruizer

Bruizer was formerly a Rock Giant that inhabited a mountain region on the Makuhero Planet. Brains landed in his area while Bruizer was looking for crystals to eat. After he found some crystals under a large rock, he went to lift another rock, revealing a Brain hiding there. The Brain mind-controlled and mutated him into a powerful beast. Bruizer and many of his fellow Brain-possessed rock giants set off to Makuhero City to destroy it.

The Heroes fought Bruizer and his fellows in the city in an attempt to repel the invasion, as Bruizer and many of his fellow Brain-possessed rock giants fought Dunkan Bulk.^[TBW] His Brain was removed by the Heroes in the fight. Bruizer's mutation was reversed after being freed from the Brain, and he returned to his homeland.^{[Episode 10]}

Abilities and Traits

Before Bruizer was possessed and mutated by a Brain, he was peaceful and friendly. He may look like a fierce giant, but he is a very sensitive and creative creature. He has powerful fists, and is strong enough to smash rocks, but he actually prefers to make sculptures with them.^[BA!][TBW] Bruizer can also hug a Brain Attack Hero so hard that the Hero would feel constricted a little and tell Bruizer to stop.^{[Episode 10]} Bruizer has tough rock-like armor, including spiky rock shoulder armor. He can climb on mountains and jump very high. He can lift large rocks with ease. He can kick a Brain very high into the air. He and his kind are taller than Bulk's Brain Attack form.

After being possessed and mutated by a Brain, Bruizer became a crazed rock monster, with a rock-smasher fist and red and orange razor-sharp spikes. After the Brain was removed from him, Bruizer changed back to his normal form and behavior.

Tools

After being possessed and mutated by a Brain, Bruizer gained a Rock Knife, which appeared when he got mutated. After his mutation is undone, the knife disappeared.

Set Information

Set 44005 Bruizer

Set 44005 Bruizer, which is medium-sized, was released in early 2013. It contains with 62 pieces, including an orange Brain that attaches to its head, and features an arm function that can swing the rock-smashing fist. The set also has a printed piece on its right thigh. A Hero Core is included for 600 points in the Brain Attack online game, and can combine with set 44004 Bulk to create a non-canon combiner model, and the building instructions for the combiner model were found in HeroFactory.com.

Trivia

• Bruizer and his species were voiced by Dee Bradley Baker in Episode 10: Brain Attack.
• In Face Off: Makuro's Secret Guidebook, "Bruizer" is a codename given by the Hero Factory to distinguish mutated members of his species to normal ones.
• Bruizer and his species were never shown using their Rock Knives in the Brain Attack episode for an unknown reason.
