Steal the fuel and leave the heroes in the dust!
Urgent! Jetbug and the other fire villains are attacking Tanker Station 22. If he’s not stopped, he will fly off with the hero-pod fuel using his powerful back-mounted jet engines. Watch out for his razor-sharp pincers and do not let him start his jet engines or we’ll never be able to catch him!

*Fire up the back-mounted jet engines to escape even the fasted hero!
*Armed with razor-sharp pincers and hand-held lava sphere shooter

Features

The set features a Lava Sphere Shooter. It also has Jetbug's two rocket boosters, which can go articulate to represent Jetbug flying.

Collectibles

The set includes a yellow head piece. It also has a printed armor piece on its right thigh.

Reception

Trivia

  • Jetbug's head piece is the same as set 2194 Nitroblast's, but is placed backwards and yellow.
  • Jetbug's rocket boosters are similar to set 2235 Fire Lord's.
  • Despite what is shown in the box art, Jetbug does not have glowing red eyes in his set.
  • Despite the set using connector pieces, called "Part 93571," from the early 2011 sets in the instruction manual, the set does not have such pieces. It has the earlier version of the pieces, called "Part 60176," which was used in Bionicle's sets in 2008-2010.
  • Set 2236 Scorpio has a Meteor Blaster that is similarly built as Jetbug's.
