Jetbug is a villain who worked under Fire Lord's command, now captured by Hero Factory.

Biography

At some point, Jetbug was built. When he was once an ordinary Mining Robot in Tallos 5, he was a pilot for a mining operation.[FO:MSG]

Jetbug overheated and became insane when he was overpowered with fuel and joined Fire Lord's team. He then developed a record of robbery, assault, arson, and destruction of public property.(shown in the January-February 2011 Lego Magazine)

Ordeal of Fire

Jetbug taking off

Jetbug accompanied Fire Lord and the rest of his gang to Tanker Station 22, where they engaged the Alpha 1 Team in combat. They easily overpowered the Heroes and trapped them. However, one of their number, Mark Surge, escaped to draw the villains away, allowing his team to retreat. The gang then captured and took Surge prisoner.

After the Heroes returned with upgraded forms, Jetbug piloted a large transport vehicle, using its weapons to attack the Alpha 1 Team. Surge, having escaped during the fight, managed to sneak into the cockpit and throw Jetbug out. Surge used the ship to crash into Fire Lord, and Jetbug was taken into custody along with the other villains to be treated from their fuel addiction.[Episode 5] Jetbug was imprisoned in Hero Factory's Villain Storage.[Episode 8]

Breakout

He escaped in the mass Breakout, caused by Voltix. During the escape, when Jimi Stringer was fighting Splitface, Jetbug and Fire Lord went to help Splitface defeat Stringer, but Daniel Rocka came in and protected Stringer from Jetbug and Fire Lord. Jetbug, Fire Lord, and Splitface continued escaping and went on the loose.[Episode 8] Later, Jetbug got recaptured.[SM4]

Abilities and Traits

Jetbug has the ability to fly extremely fast using his powerful back-mounted jet engines, and is incredibly agile. He is insane (shown in Comic 5: Ordeal of Fire), and known for his incessant giggling, though this can sometimes be used to locate him. He served as the pilot of his gang's flying ship. Some records say that he spent so much time in the air that he loses his sense of balance when he is on the ground.[FO:MSG] Like his gang, Jetbug can absorb energy, including fuel, and he is addicted in getting fuel.

Weapons

While his primary weapons are his razor-sharp claw blades, which can fire energy beams, Jetbug also carried a Lava Sphere Shooter. His weapons were confiscated when he is jailed. He also has large mandibles that can pierce through steel. He has red-hot lava spikes.

Set Information
