This LEGO® HERO FACTORY® villain is lethal in close combat, running on all fours and attacking with razor claws, a spiked head and corrosive spit! So don’t get too close to this bad bot or you’ll pay the price!

The set's box

The set consists of 40 pieces.

There is a non-canon combination model made of parts from this set and 7147 XPlode. It was named "Crunchy" by webmaster Kelly McKiernan, who designed and only used the model as an example of a Hero Factory creation in HeroFactory.com's Gallery page, in the Prototype Photography Tips section.^{[Prototype Photography Tips]} Instructions for it were never released.

Features

The set features a Meteor Blaster, which is connected to the top of Corroder's right upper arm. The Blaster can rotate around its place. The set also has the two Acid Blasters, which it has for hands. The Blasters also allow Corroder to stand on all fours. The set has another one of the Blasters for its back armor.

The back of the box shows Corroder's stats.

Collectibles

The set includes a lime green helmet. The Blasters and back armor have various stickers.

Trivia

• Corroder is the only villain in the 2010 set year to not be a hunchback.
• Corroder's arms are the same as the limb pieces from Bionicle's 2008-2010 sets.
