Set Information

The set's foil pack

The set consists of 44 pieces. It was released in early 2012 in Europe, Australia/New Zealand and Asia. However, the set, along with 6227 BREEZ, had its release date held back until summer 2012 in North America for an unknown reason.

By combining pieces from Thornraxx with pieces from set 6227, one can build a non-canon combination model.

Features

The set features mandibles that are a variation of the Meteor Blaster. It also has wings that can articulate to represent Thornraxx flying. On the foil pack's front art's background shows Natalie Breez, a Hero from the Breez set and who is chasing after Thornraxx in his home Hive Planet.

Collectibles

The set includes a black head piece and a Hero Core. Printed underneath the Core is a code called a Hero Code, which could be entered in an online game called Breakout in HeroFactory.com in 2012, to earn 200 Hero Points. The Hero Core is not used in Thornraxx's construction, but can possibly be placed on any of his armor pieces for storage.
