Set Information

The set's box

The set consists of 89 pieces.

By combining pieces from Stormer XL with pieces from 6231 SPEEDA DEMON, one can build a non-canon combination model.

The set features a Plasma Gun and Hero Cuffs. It also has five Scout Drones, which can be detached from Stormer's armor armor to represent them flying. On the box's front art's background shows Speeda Demon, Stormer's targeted villain from the Speeda Demon set and who is riding a Nitro Rocket Motorbike, in Kollix IV.

The set includes a white helmet and a Hero Core. Stormer's chest armor and left leg armor, and the Scout Drones have various stickers. Printed underneath the Core is a code called a Hero Code, which could be entered in an online game called Breakout in in 2012, to earn 500 Hero Points.

  • Stormer's helmet is the same as the one in 7164 Preston Stormer.
  • Stormer XL is the only 2012 Hero set to not use the new torso piece in the 2012 set year.
  • The set does not come with the Ultra Mach Speed Cycle from Episode 8: Breakout Part 1 and Episode 9: Breakout Part 2.
  • In the episodes, Stormer's forelegs are designed somewhat differently for an unknown reason.
  • Unlike 2282 Rocka XL, which is a larger version of 2143 Rocka 3.0, this set does not have a normal Breakout Hero set counterpart for an unknown reason.
  • Stormer XL is one of the only two sets to provide 500 Hero Points for the Breakout game, the other being 6203 BLACK PHANTOM.
  • According to a 2012 commercial showcasing Stormer XL and Speeda Demon, Stormer's Power Sword can be stored on a clipping piece on Stormer's back.[Video] The episodes show this as well.
