The Comic Builder is the fifth online game on HeroFactory.com that allows users to create their own comics featuring Hero Factory characters and scenery.

Instructions

When a user is logged in with their LEGO.com account, they are able to view their own comics in the "My Comics" section. Users who aren't logged in may still download or print their comics.

In the Comic Creator mode, it starts out by allowing the user to select their own frame layout. There are six layouts available, with varying numbers and positions of each panel. Once a layout is chosen, the user can choose between multiple backgrounds for each panel. Each background is scalable and movable. There are ten characters to choose from — Stormer 2.0, Furno 2.0, Evo 2.0, Nex 2.0, Surge 2.0, Breez 2.0, Drilldozer, Jetbug, Nitroblast, and Fire Lord — all of which can be positioned to face different direction, set in a pose, and resized. Text boxes and speech bubbles are available in seven styles. With each box, there is a choice between fonts, colors, and sizes of the text inside. The final feature usable in the Comic Creator is the action effects. These effects include text that portrays actions, expression marks, cartoons, symbols, and blasts of weapons or gadgets.
