The Rocka Crawler, or the Crawler Machine, was a Battle Machine used by Daniel Rocka.

History

After entering the subterranean tunnels of Antropolis City to rescue their two allies, the Heroes of Alpha 1 Team were forced to build new Battle Machines more suited to the environment. Daniel Rocka had Nathan Evo set up the Remote Builder and then build five new such Battle Machines. The Rocka Crawler was the first of these machines built, the others being the Bulk Drill Machine, Breez Flea Machine, Surge & Rocka Combat Machine, and Evo Spider Machine, and taken by Rocka. Rocka used the Crawler to examine a cocoon. A Jumper hatched from the egg and forced the machine off a cliff, but Rocka was able to push the Jumper off his mech and rejoined his allies in exploring the underground. During the expedition, Rocka and Mark Surge were separated from the rest of the team by a magnetic field, which continually trapped their machines. Rocka encountered a Tunneler Beast, and was able to temporarily fend it off, but the Rocka Crawler was pinned between two rocks, forcing Rocka to exit the machine and join with Surge's Battle Machine called the Surge & Rocka Combat Machine.^{[Episode 11]}

Features

The Rocka Crawler was a small bipedal mech, which possessed two chainsaw hands for offense and slicing. It also had adjustable machine arms that could climb in the Jumpers' underground lair. It holstered Rocka's laser gun on top of it. As with all of the Battle Machines, the machine contained an ejectable cockpit. The Crawler was also armed with two lasers, one on each side of its cockpit.

Set Information

Set 44023 Rocka Crawler, which is small, was included in the second half of the Invasion From Below wave, released in summer of 2014. The set is comprised of 49 pieces, 33 of which are used to build the machine itself, while the rest are used for the minifigs, Rocka and a Jumper, and a cocoon that came included. Parts from the Rocka Crawler can be combined with parts from the Bulk Drill Machine from set 44025 Bulk Drill Machine and Breez Flea Machine from set 44027 Breez Flea Machine to create a new non-canon combination model using building instructions from HeroFactory.com.

Trivia

• The Crawler was the only known Battle Machine to not have a bulletproof visor for some reason. However, the mech could project a holographic screen that can scan Rocka's target.^{[Episode 11]}
• In Episode 11: Invasion From Below, the devices that shoot lasers function as flashlights.
