The Sonic Blaster, or the Quad Amplitude Mega Decibel Sound Blaster,[Episode 8][HiA](Omega Recon Reports) is a modified Plasma Gun wielded by Jimi Stringer.
Functionality
Augmenting his sonic abilities, the quad-amplitude, mega-decibel sonic blaster was designed to send out concentrated and explosive masses of sound waves, the vibrations of which can affect both biological and electrical components, much like his Sonic Speakers. The nature of the sound waves have an adverse effect on hearing.
Example Usage
In Breakout Part 1, Stringer used the Sonic Blaster in his quest to apprehend Voltix.
Trivia
- The Sonic Blaster looks like a guitar. It is also somewhat similar to the Sonic Boom Weapon.
- In Stringer 1.0's LEGOshop.com set description, the Sonic Boom Weapon was called the "Sonic Blaster". In Stringer's Hero Log in Secret Mission 1: The Doom Box, he is said to have used his Sonic Blaster when he was a 1.0 Hero. However, what is said in the book is an error, and that name goes to the Breakout weapon since the Sonic Blaster was not made before the Breakout. The book was meant to say the Sonic Boom Weapon.
Set Information
Set 6282 STRINGER, released in late 2012, includes the Sonic Blaster, which is comprised of 10 pieces. The top part of the weapon was designed with a ball launcher; when squeezed, the sides will shoot out a blue piece of spherical ammunition.
