The Electricity Shooter was a weapon given to Mark Surge during the breakout.
Functionality
High-voltage pure energy is emitted from the Electricity Shooter, and can strike multiple opponents simultaneously. The insulated handle prevents energy feedback from affecting the user.
The Shooter can also be used as a temporary shield that protects the user from powerful energy blasts. The shield stops most projectiles, including all energy blasts, though non-metallic objects can phase right through it. It can also function as an electrical sword, as it can create a blade-like electrical construct. The Shooter's sword function can cut a third of a large asteroid off, and that asteroid could penetrate the Sigma Sigma Communications Satellite's force field. The Shooter can stun other robots, like Splitface.[Episode 9][SM1]
Example Usage
In Breakout Part 2, Surge used the Electricity Shooter to cut the third of the asteroid off to try to stop it from ramming into the communications satellite.
Set Information
The Electricity Shooter piece, a recolor of the Lightning Shooter and Shield half from set 7169 Mark Surge in late 2010, was included in set 6217 SURGE, released in early 2012. It is co-injected from silver metallic and transparent blue plastic.
Trivia
- In the set, the Electric Shooter seemed to be connected by a blue and white tube to Surge's back, but the episode, the tube is connecting Surge's left forearm armor to his back rather than the Shooter to his back for an unknown reason.
- It is possible that the Electricity Shooter's design is based on the Lightning Shooter and Shield because of their similarities.
