The visors are attached to the Hero's helmets, and can open to allow the Heroes to view their surroundings unaltered. The visors are primarily defensive, protecting the face from attacks and energy blasts, but can also provide a number of other tactical benefits, including a Heads Up Display. Some Hero visors have decorative markings.
In Episode 10, Evo used his visor to breathe underwater in the sewers of Makuhero City.
The visor piece was included in every Hero set of 2013. The visor was designed with a clip which attached to a bar on the redesigned head pieces of Hero Factory sets, and could fold over the new helmets.
